Julia Roberts will beat up Adeles next boyfriend

Julia Roberts is such a big fan of Adele that she has vowed to have a punch-up with the next guy who breaks the singers heart.

Adeles worldwidesmash album 21 was written about an ex who broke her heart, and the lovelorn lyrics in Someone Like You and the seething bitterness of Rolling In The Deep have clearly appealed to Julias maternal instincts.

She told Entertainment Weekly that she's quite protective of the singer: "Anybody that's going to date her is a brave, brave man. You're going to get a whole lot of love, but you'd better treat her right, or we're all coming after you."

Adele recently got us all tearful all over again when her tour rider was leaked. The document,published online by TMZ,insisted that anyone who turned up to her gig with a freebie ticket donates $20 to charity.

Amy to hit top spot

Another British singer with an exceptional voice who wrote songs about heatbreak is expected to hit number one this weekend with her new album. Amy Winehouses posthumous LP, Lioness: Hidden Treasures, features many unfinished songs that the star had been working on before her tragic death this summer.

According to NME.com, the album is currently outselling Michael Bubles Christmas album (imaginatively titled Christmas), and is set to take the top spot in the charts.

Olly Murss album In Case You Didn't Know, which hit number one last week, is predicted to hit number four, and Rebecca Fergusons album is to enter number three with her debut, Heaven.
