Julia Roberts - No Oscar Bump For The Artist In Dvd Sales

The Artist, which won the best picture Oscar this year, made a quiet -- if not silent -- debut on the video sales and rental charts for last week. It placed fifth on the Nielsen VideoScan First Alert sales chart and sixth on Home Media magazine's rental chart. Topping the DVD sales chart was Sony's 21 Jump Street , while on the Blu-ray chart the winner was Warner's Wrath of the Titans . In third place on both the DVD and Blu-ray charts was 20th Century Fox's debuting Mirror Mirror, starring Julia Roberts. Warner's Sherlock Holmes A Game of Shadows dropped to No. 4 its third week in release. Actual sales figures are not disclosed by the studios.
