Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts confirmed for 'August: Osage County'
The Oscar-winning actresses will appear together in the adaptation of Tracy Letts's Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning play.

The film centres around domineering matriarch Violet Weston (Streep) and her relationship with her family, including her adult daughter Barbara (Roberts).
The Weinstein Company is producing the movie, with John Wells (The Company of Men) attached to direct.

"After seeing Meryl Streep's mesmerizing portrayal as Margaret Thatcher in The Iron Lady, it has me even more excited and proud to ! co-star with her," said Roberts.
Roberts and Streep were originally rumoured to be attached to the film over a year ago.
Streep has been nominated for an Oscar for her role in The Iron Lady.
Roberts will play the evil queen in Mirror Mirror later this year.
