Julia Roberts, George Clooney File Joint Lawsuit
Two stars are better than one!
Former Ocean's Eleven costars Julia Roberts and George Clooney filed a joint lawsuit last Friday against Beyond Audio, Inc and Digital Projection, Inc. for allegedly using their names and images to promote their products.
Clooney, 50, and Roberts, 44, (who filed under her married name, Julia Moder) filed the lawsuit in the Los Angeles Superior Court, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The actors' lawsuit alleges privacy and publicity right violations, negligent misuse and trademark infringement.

They are accusing the two audio-visual companies of "prominently [using] large photographs" of them for marketing in "print advertisements published in numerous magazines over the past several months" without their permission.
The two stars are seeking an injunction against further use of their names or images, attorneys fees, punitive damages, unspecified compensatory damages and treble damages.

Although Clooney and Roberts filed the lawsuit together, they are using separate attorneys.
