Julia Roberts Developing New Comedy 'Second Act'


(RTTNews) - Julia Roberts has reportedly been linked to New Regency's upcoming workplace comedy film "Second Act." The "Larry Crowne" actress will star as a woman who has never held a job and is forced to enter the workplace later in life.

Roberts' production company Red Om will work hand in hand with New Regency and she will co-produce alongside Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas, who is also her former manager. Trudie Styler and Celine Rattray will also produce for their Maven Pictures studio.

The new project comes at a busy time for Roberts, who also stars as the evil queen in the upcoming Snow White adaptation "Mirror Mirror." Thus far no writer or director h! as been announced for "Second Act."
