Julia Roberts is famed for her wide trademark Hollywood smile and glistening pearly whites which helped her rise to stardom and become one of the greatest actresses to grace our screens today.

And now the stunning 44-year-old screen siren has revealed her teethy secrets to In Style magazine by claiming that she picked up one of her top beauty tricks from her grandfather.

The 'Pretty Woman' actress is renowned for her timeless beauty and gorgeous smile, and has revealed that she uses items found in everyones kitchen cupboards to look picture perfect.

Julia, despite being a multi-millionaire, polishes her pearly whites with baking soda rather than splurge on expensive treatments that may not work.

She told In Style magazines September issue: "I brush [my teeth] with baking soda. [My grandfather] would put a big heaping mound of it on his toothbrush. He had only one cavity in his entire life. Sometimes that's all I do as far as a regime goes."

The yummy mummy of three children, Julia reckons she saves a lot of time by putting the bare amount of effort into her beauty regime.

She also unveiled a few other beauty tricks for looking glam with very little time, claiming that Hollywoods staple, big black shades, are a must have when it comes to hiding a multitude of flaws.

She went on: "Look, I'm happy if I have on moisturiser and ChapStick! When you're dressing three people besides yourself, something has to fall away."

"I've learned to always have a big pair of dark sunglasses within arm's reach before going out," she continued.
