Julia Roberts to produce new TV comedy series

Julia Roberts is set to produce a new project for television, a comedy series for ABC, according to Deadline.

The plot will revolve around a tyrannical boss and her employees' attempts to rein her in. Its title, Taming of the Shrew, is borrowed from Shakespeare's play.

Julia Roberts will get to work again with her former agent Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas, who is now a producer. The latter was involved in Mona Lisa Smile, starring Roberts.

The actress's production work includes Stepmom, in which she also starred alongside Susan Sarandon, and the TV seriesQueens Supreme(2003).
