Julia Roberts's children may have no idea that she's a major film star.

"They've never seen me in a movie before, but, that's all in due course I think," the 44-year-old actress told OnTheRedCarpet.com.
She made her comments in an interview to promote her latest fi! lm - "Mi rror Mirror," which sees her taking on a role she usually doesn't play - the villain. Roberts plays the Evil Queen in the film, an adaptation of the popular fairy tale "Snow White." It hit theaters on Friday, March 30.
The actress and husband Daniel Moder are parents to 7-year-old twins Hazel and Phinnaeus and Henry, 4.
In "Mirror Mirror," Roberts dons gaudy dresses, rolls her eyes at the mere mention of young Snow White, played by Lilly Colins, and dismisses her fair complexion as a product of sun depravation. Roberts' character showcases humor, but remains "pretty evil," according to the actress.
Roberts also gushed about her upcoming project, the movie "August: Osage County," which sees her and Meryl Streep playing a mother and daughter.
"It's getting there, it's getting exciting, for sure," Roberts said when asked about the film's progress thus far. "I can't wait. It's like a dream come true."
"August: Osage County" is based on the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning play by Tracy Letts, which debuted on Broadway in December 2007. Streep will play Violet, a prescription drug addict and matriarch of the Weston family. Roberts will portray her estranged adult daughter, Barbara. In the play, Violet's husband goes missing, which spurs her dysfunctional family to reunite at her home in Oklahoma to provide support.
The actress has never appeared in a live-action film with Roberts before. However, the two voiced characters in the 2006 animated movie "The Ant Bully."
The actress, who was named one of 25 most trusted celebrities in 2011, is also set to appear in the 2014 film "The Normal Heart," a drama starring Jim Parsons from "The Big Bang Theory" that is about a gay activist who tries to raise awareness about HIV and AIDS during the 1980s.
The veteran actress rose to fame playing a prostitute with a heart of gold in the 1990 film "Pretty Woman," which earned her a second Oscar nomination. She received her first nod for the 1989 movie "Steel Magnolias," which is currently being adapted into a Lifetime movie with Phylicia Rashad's daughter playing Roberts' former role.
Roberts' career then blossomed with films such as "My Best Friend's Wedding" and "Notting Hill." The actress won an Oscar for her title role in the 2000 movie "Erin Brockovich."
"Mirror, Mirror" is one of two film adaptations of "Snow White" that is due to hit theaters this year. The other is the dark "Snow White and the Huntsman."
